Friends of Yogi is an independent volunteer initiative operated in compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

Name, mobile, email, district, Vidhan Sabha constituency, pincode, age, gender, role preferences, languages, weekly availability, vehicle, profession, and social handle — only the information you voluntarily enter in the volunteer form.

How we use it

Solely for volunteer coordination related to the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly campaign, invitations to local activities, and relevant communication. We do not sell your information to any third party.

Your rights

You may at any time email contact@friendsofyogi.in to view, correct, or delete your data. Under the DPDP Act we shall act on your request within 30 days.

Data storage

Volunteer data is stored on secure Google Workspace servers located in India. We employ modern encryption and access controls.

Cookies & analytics

When you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram advertisement, we use the Meta Pixel and Vercel Analytics to measure how many people visit and complete the volunteer form, so we can improve our outreach. These tools may set cookies and process limited, non-sensitive usage data. We do not use them to sell your personal information. You can opt out via your browser settings or your Facebook/Instagram ad preferences.
